Pause The Week - 23rd October - Remembering Who We Are: A Journey Back to Self

In the hustle of modern life - between deadlines, responsibilities, and endless notifications - something precious often gets lost. That something is our connection to ourselves, to the parts of us that dream, play, and wonder.

This week in Pause The Week, we explored this territory together. What happens when we pause long enough to ask: What have I forgotten about myself? What would my inner child want me to remember?

It's fascinating (and telling) how many of us find it challenging to connect with our inner child. The mere thought of it has some of us recoiling. Perhaps it's because we've learned to value productivity over presence, doing over being. Or maybe because returning to that vulnerable, authentic part of ourselves feels scary in a world that often demands we wear masks.

But here's the thing about remembering - it doesn't require that we get it "perfect." Sometimes, just creating the space to ask these questions is enough to begin the journey home to ourselves.

Through our guided yoga nidra practice, we allowed ourselves to sink into a space of deep relaxation - a space where we could meet different aspects of our Self. Some found wisdom waiting there, others found questions and difficult messages. But in that twilight state between waking and sleeping, we remembered what it feels like to simply be.

Because sometimes the most radical act of self-care isn't adding something new to our lives, but remembering what was always there.

What parts of yourself are waiting to be remembered? What would your inner child love to reclaim? Perhaps it's time to pause and listen.

We would love to have you join us at our next gathering! We're taking a little break next week, but we'll be back on Wednesday, November 6th. These sessions are always free - just bring yourself and an open heart.
